WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) announced a partnership between his congressional office and the Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program.
“Ensuring our nation’s veterans are equipped with an abundance of resources to achieve success upon their return to civilian life is one of my highest priorities,” said Rep. Donalds. “I’m proud to be partnering with the Wounded Warriors Fellowship Program to encourage veteran participation in the legislative process. I’m certain the selected veteran will be an invaluable asset to not just my office, but the entire Southwest Florida community.”
Established in 2008, the Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program creates opportunities for military veterans to work for the United States Congress. As a proud supporter of our armed forces, Congressman Donalds is proud to announce he is hiring a Wounded Warrior Fellow to work between his Southwest Florida offices, located in Cape Coral and Naples.
This two-year paid fellowship will grant the selected veteran with significant legislative experience and the ability to serve as a facilitator between constituents and various federal agencies. All veterans that received an honorable discharge and received a pay grade at/or below E-5, O-3, or W-2 are eligible to participate in the fellowship program.
