"Once again, Senate Democrats have done nothing [and] proposed no solutions":

"As far as I'm concerned, this is really in the hands of the Senate. Once again, Senate Democrats have done nothing [and] proposed no solutions. They just want to go over there and complain, and then they want to kick it back to the House. I'm not interested in bailing out the Senate. Everybody knows how much I respect the President of the United States, but the Senate Democrats are the ones who are bringing us to this point. There was already an agreement on ICE funding two weeks ago, and then they reneged. Surprise, surprise. Chuck Schumer, once again, has no solutions." 

"We're going to continue with ICE doing their job under the Constitution"

"Let's also be very clear. I didn't hear Hakeem Jeffries say a damn thing when there were young women in America who were being raped and murdered by criminal illegal aliens that Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and he let into the country with impunity. They said nothing while House Republicans wanted something very simple, which was to secure the Southern border once and for all. So, if this is going to be the argument he wants to make, then I've got a counterargument. Number one, we're going to continue with ICE doing their job under the Constitution. But number two, we're going to protect the vote of every American. We're not going to have situations like in California and other states where Democrats know that they have people voting in our elections with impunity just so Democrats can get some semblance of power in the United States of America."
