ICYMI: Donalds Joins The Erick Erickson Show

WASHINGTON – Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) joined The Erick Erickson Show on 95.5 WSB Atlanta to discuss the allegations of massive fraud in Minnesota and the refusal by blue states to implement President Trump's historic tax cut provisions.

Watch the full interview here.

"That's outrageous. It's obscene. You can't allow for it. You got to turn the spigot off":

"To me, number one, you got to turn the spigot off. Like, once it's been known that these programs have been abused, yeah, you got to bring them to a halt. And there might be somebody who's using the programs the way they were designed, but they also have to understand that you can't just have good money go out even though it's followed with terrible uses of that money. We're seeing reports that the people behind this fraud they're buying boats, they're on private jets, they're vacationing all over the place, they're buying homes. That's outrageous. It's obscene. You can't allow for it. You got to turn the spigot off."

"Federal law for a lot of these programs does not allow for audits or does not allow for routine eligibility checks because the Democrats don't want those kind of checks done":

"I've not heard it yet, but I wouldn't doubt it. I'm looking at California, New York, Illinois, Washington State, Oregon. I mean, you can go down the list. I think this is happening in so many states around the country because, like I said, Drew, federal law for a lot of these programs does not allow for audits or does not allow for routine eligibility checks because the Democrats don't want those kind of checks done. They just want the money going out the door. They do not care if some of it ends up in fraudulent hands. That's what they want. And in some respects, depending on what's going on, you could say they're counting on it ending up in fraudulent hands. And that's wrong."
