ICYMI: Donalds Joins America's Newsroom

WASHINGTON – Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) joined America's Newsroom on Fox News Channel to discuss the rebranding tactics by Democrats and the DNC's failed fundraising efforts.

Watch the full interview here.

"I have no idea what they are going to do because everything that the Democrats stand for is what the American people have soundly rejected":

"I have no idea what they are going to do because everything that the Democrats stand for is what the American people have soundly rejected. They stand for open borders, the American people rejected it. They stand for rampant illegal immigration. They stand for criminal illegals coming into our country. They stand for the drug cartels having control of our southern borders. And last but not least, they stood for the inflation that crippled so many American families. That was Democrats that voted for Joe Biden's economic plan, which led to higher inflation for the American people, a stagnant economy, wages adjusted for inflation were down, and they're going to rebrand themselves? I didn't even get into the crazy social agendas around transgenderism and boys in women's sports. That's what they stand for. Those are the policies they want to go back to. So, what's the rebrand going to do? Are they going to get more crazy? They're going to follow Zohran Mamdani? I don't think that's going to work for the American people. Americans want sound borders. They want a sound economy. They want prices to be stable and to lower. They want more money in their pocket. They really want to thrive. They want the American dream. Democrats don't stand for that. Look at the policy sets. You could put AOC or somebody else out in front, but it's the same policies, which means it's going to be destructive of America."

"I mean, if they can't raise money, that's kind of indicative that people don't want their policies":

"Number one, the Democrats don't really have a message. Two, everybody knows that the Republicans, we are going to push forward with President Trump's agenda. You want to talk about energy prices? The president, just the other day, announced the reopening of Three Mile Island. That's going to help lower electricity costs in the Northeast. Two, he wants to drill more. He wants more natural gas again to decrease energy prices in the United States for the American people. But when you look at the dollar differences between the party, I think a lot of people are saying that Democrats don't have real answers. They might try to throw a new personality out there, but that's not the policy that's really going to matter. As far as Republicans are concerned, we have to continue to embrace President Trump's agenda, get it passed through Congress, [and] make sure that the policies begin to get enacted in our country so the American people can fully see the difference between Republicans and Democrats. I mean, if they can't raise money, that's kind of indicative that people don't want their policies."
