WASHINGTON – Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) joined The Evening Edit on Fox Business Network to discuss a recent terror plot thwarted by the FBI in Los Angeles, and the horrific anti-Semitic terror attack in Australia.

"I'm just very thankful that the FBI and the other members of law enforcement that were involved in this investigation were able to thwart this terror plot":
"My first reaction is thank you to the men and women at the FBI and other parts of law enforcement that thwarted this heinous attack. And first of all, let's put the group's intentions aside for a moment. What they would have done was cause mass harm to all Americans, whether you're a Republican, Democrat, White, Black, Hispanic, it didn't matter. They were going to yield maximum harm for a political movement. And now, let's talk to politics. This is why we cannot have in our country demeaning ICE, demeaning law enforcement. These men and women put their lives on the line every single day. I'm just very thankful that the FBI and the other members of law enforcement that were involved in this investigation were able to thwart this terror plot."
"This level of antisemitism, this hatred against Jewish people and against Israel, it's out of control. It's insane":
"Well, first of all, to the good Samaritan that stepped in and stopped that massacre at Bondi Beach, I think not only do I thank you, I think the rest of the world thanks you because this level of antisemitism, this hatred against Jewish people and against Israel, it's out of control. It's insane. And it's not going to solve some of these other problems that exist around the world. The fact of the matter is that in the Middle East, you have radical Islamic terrorists who hide behind women, they hide behind children. They throw out these plots, whether it's terror or trying to basically wipe Israel off the face of the earth. And now you have Jews who are just trying to celebrate the beginning of Hanukkah, and now they're under fire. 10 people are dead. So I want to thank the good Samaritan for doing what was necessary to go in there and save lives. And for really the rest of the world, obviously, here in America, I mean, this rhetoric around hating Israel, hating the Jewish people, that has to stop because there are real-world consequences. There are crazy people who will carry this out. There are radicals who will carry this out. And to Joe Biden and what he did on the southern border for four years, this is the reason why Republicans and President Trump we are taking border security so seriously in the face of Democrats who had no problem leaving our borders wide open. It's actually put the nation at risk. This is why President Trump is leading all of government effort to send criminal illegal aliens home as quickly as possible."
