"The Affordable Care Act was never affordable. Even in the original Obamacare law, there were premium subsidies that were built into that law. So there was original set of premiums in Obamacare. Those are permanent. They were part of the original law. And the purpose is to mask the true cost of healthcare from the American people. The premiums have risen so much in Obamacare that then during Covid, they used Covid as an excuse to increase the subsidies for Obamacare and the Democrats, they were in charge. If they wanted those subsidies to be permanent, they could have put that into the law when the autopen was signing everything. But they didn't do that. They wanted to create a political fight in 2025 because they know that it's very possible they would lose the White House because their policies are so stupid and and so insane that the American people would reject it. So they [Democrats] set up this political fight on purpose back in 2021 when they put these things into place."
