"The subsidies were always meant to mask and hide the true cost of health insurance":
"No, I just want to do away with it [Obamacare]. The biggest problem with Obamacare is first it's the regulations they put on health insurance policies in the United States. Essentially now everybody has to buy a gold-plated health care plan regardless of your health. That was the big issue number one and those are much more expensive. Number two, is this thing called community rating. And what they did with community rating is they did an even broader cost sharing. So look, we have probably about 5 to 8% of the population that have what we call a major acute medical issues. What Obamacare did is that it spread that cost even more to healthy people. So if you're healthy and you're trying to buy health insurance, obviously you'r paying a lot more than you would have before Obamacare. Third thing Obamacare did is that it created subsidies when the law was passed. The subsidies, which are basically us borrowing tax money from the future. The subsidies were always meant to mask and hide the true cost of health insurance. And what happened in Covid is that the Biden team actually added another layer of subsidies on top of the original Obamacare subsidies to further hide the true cost of health care or the true cost of what Obamacare has done to health care is the better way to say it."
"States have a responsibility to sue other states if they are actually creating safety issues":
"I think it's the right move. We absolutely should. The problem with these CDL licenses in particular is that you have another state's reckless policy impacting Florida. So states have a responsibility to sue other states if they are actually creating safety issues. In this particular on Florida's highways. And so I completely support it. I think it's the right move. And to a broader level, what it's going to highlight is reckless Democrat policy in blue states and how it impacts safety across the country. So, it's a complete right move. I fully support it."
