ICYMI: Donalds Joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla

WASHINGTON – Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) joined Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla on Fox News Radio to discuss President Trump's historic peace deal in the Middle East and American exceptionalism.

Watch the full interview here.

"Donald Trump is leaning fully into peace through strength the way no American president has done since Reagan":

"That's 100% correct. Donald Trump is leaning fully into peace through strength the way no American president has done since Reagan. And that's why if you look at the two American presidents in the modern era who have had the largest foreign policy wins, peace in the Middle East, the tearing down on the Berlin Wall, what is it? It is American men who are strong, who believe in the strength of our country and the greatness of our country and the uniqueness of our country. They don't shy away from it, they stand on it, they lead with it. And when you look around the world, other countries, yeah, they envy us because we're the best country in the world. That's the way it is. Whenever we try to give up that mantle, that's when they think that they can run a game on us. But when we stand firm on that mantle and we not only acknowledge it, but we lead with it with our chest and with our thoughts and with our words and our actions, America can't be beat. Period."

"So much of Washington has been caught up in the same echo chamber of thought, especially when it comes to foreign policy. And that's why it was not working until yesterday because Donald Trump flipped the script":

"That's because, yeah, President Trump is unorthodox. He thinks outside the box. He's been doing the things that Americans really have been clamoring for, for 40 years in the United States. And that goes past party lines, it's not just Republicans. I think Americans have just been wanting a leader who's just going to get it done, find a way, no real excuses. You know, you're going to have the be authentic, original, think outside the box, find new solutions. So much of Washington has been caught up in the same echo chamber of thought, especially when it comes to foreign policy. And that's why it was not working until yesterday because Donald Trump flipped the script. He was using peace through strength, looking for an opportunity to have a deal get done, but at the same time, he wasn't going to be a pushover for Hamas and for the radicals in the Middle East. And once they knew that crystal clear, the only possible landing was peace."
