WASHINGTON – Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) met with senior officials from the Taiwan Agricultural Trade Goodwill Mission at the United States Capitol to discuss and highlight the importance of continued trade between the island and the State of Florida.
Led by Minister of Agriculture Chen Junne-jih, the Taiwanese Agricultural Trade Goodwill Mission is comprised of various members involved in Taiwanese industry. Since 1988, the delegation has regularly visited the United States to further strengthen the food security, trade, and bilateral partnership between the United States and Taiwan. Congressman Donalds released the following statement:
