WASHINGTON – Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) joined The Evening Edit on Fox Business Network to discuss the work of FBI Director Kash Patel and his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee. "My take is that Kash Patel has come to Washington, appointed by Donald Trump, to clean up the FBI and to clean it up from what the Democrats have done to that institution and so they tried to berate him in committee and Kash wasn’t having any of it. Kash Patel is goin to speak his mind, I actually know him quite well. He’s a good man and he's doing a great job over at the FBI. He’s not gonna do the old Washington ways of just sitting there and letting these Democrat senators berate him with inaccurate information and outright lies, and so Kash pushed back and he should push back. It’s about getting the truth out to what the FBI is doing on behalf of the American people." "They don’t want to address that because Donald Trump, um, is doing what he told American people he was gonna do. Actually bringing back a serious administration, being focused on law and order, making sure the nation was secured and Kash Patel is the tip of the sphere to make sure that happens. And so, the reason why the Democrats have no comment on any of that stuff is because it demonstrates that the FBI, for the first time in a long time, is focused on its core mission which is law enforcement and making sure that the American people are safe domestically. I’m so glad that Kash Patel is the director of the FBI."
