Donalds Honors Our Nation's Heroes: Celebrates National Purple Heart Day

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) released the following statement commemorating National Purple Heart Day: "Since 1932 the Purple Heart has been awarded by the President of the United States to those wounded or killed in service to our nation. On National Purple Heart Day, we remember, honor, and celebrate the over 1.8 million recipients of the Purple Heart for their bravery, sacrifice, and courageous service."
