WASHINGTON – Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) joined Katy Tur Reports on MSNBC to discuss the passing of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and the mandate the American people gave to the Republican Party on November 5th, 2024.

The American people gave us a mandate:

"We are finally delivering on the mandate that the American people gave us last November... We are expanding our economy, we are going to get far more investment into the United States, so whether it's Florida, Missouri, Utah, Texas, wherever you are talking about, California. People will be able to have a stronger economy, a more durable economy, so wages will go up."

Republicans will keep the House in 2026:

“In my view, and it differs from some of my colleagues, tax policy does not add to the deficit. Tax policy is about raising revenue and so what we believe is gonna happen is that we're gonna raise more revenue from this bill. That's going to expand our economy and that means we're gonna be able to not just keep the House, but also keep the Senate and continue to do constructive things for the American people."
