H.RES. 1395 – USA Russia China Nuclear Competition Resolution: Expresses that is unacceptable for China and Russia to be outpacing the United States in nuclear production and the global nuclear market share. This legislation demands American nuclear energy dominance, ensures American nuclear energy competitiveness, and promotes American energy independence.
H.R. 9198 – Maximize Risk-Informed Performance-Based Licensing Act: Requires a risk-informed, performance-based licensing approach to the maximum extent to expedite the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) nuclear licensing process. This legislation slashes red-tape to increase efficiency, modernizes the nuclear licensing process, and maximizes practical nuclear energy solutions.
H.R. 9199 – Exclude Pesky Fees From Duplicative Nuclear Reviews Act: Limits the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) application review process to novel concepts and minimizes duplicative fees. This legislation increases assessment efficiency at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), eliminates duplicative bureaucratic action, and reforms antiquated NRC processes.
H.R. 9200 – Atomic Supply Chain Solutions Act: Evaluates the United States nuclear supply chain to reduce regulatory barriers and associated costs for nuclear supply chain manufacturers. This legislation helps to prepare America for the broad-based implementation of nuclear reactors, reduces burdens in the United States nuclear supply chain, and promotes the growth of the United States nuclear supply chain.
H.R. 9201 – Nuclear USA Act: Bolsters the United States uranium industry by shoring-up mining, milling, conversion, enrichment, fabrication, and reprocessing capabilities. This legislation maximizes United States nuclear energy independence, embraces uranium as a critical mineral, and utilizes pre-established funding mechanisms.
H.R. 9202 – Nuclear Waste Reprocessing Act: Directs the Secretary of Energy to promote and facilitate the commercialization of domestic spent nuclear fuel reprocessing. This legislation repurposes and recycles spent nuclear fuel, offers our nation beneficial environmental solutions, and maximizes nuclear energy's economic potential.
