WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) issued the following statement after voting for legislation to save the life of any infant born-alive during an abortion procedure and to condemn the recent nationwide attacks on pro-life facilities, groups, and churches.

“As a father, I can safely say that my three children are the greatest gifts I have ever received. Infants deserve a right to life and should be entitled to the same legal protections that are afforded to all Americans. Our nation must care for its most vulnerable.

“Last year, over 100 pro-life entities in South Florida, statewide, and across the nation were attacked by vandals and arsonists. Although these attackers thought they could scare away pro-life Americans with threats and violence, our movement grew stronger. I am proud to join my colleagues in fully condemning these attacks, and I stand firmly as an advocate for the pro-life movement.”
