Congressman Donalds Introduces Resolution Honoring Southwest Florida’s First Responders

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) introduced a resolution honoring the brave first responders who aided Lee & Collier County residents affected by recent tornadoes.

In January, the Southwest Florida community was shaken following the landfall of multiple devastating tornadoes. Local first responders acted swiftly and heroically to provide critical aid to those severely impacted. This resolution honors their service and sacrifice on behalf of a grateful community.

“The effectiveness of our local first responders not only saved countless lives but was essential to a community in crisis,” said Rep. Donalds. “The men & women that serve Southwest Florida as first responders are the bravest among us. It is my honor to introduce this resolution commending them for their selfless service to the people of Southwest Florida.”
