Rep. Donalds and Sen. Scott (FL) Introduce the Unnecessary Agency Regulations Reduction Act

WASHINGTON –– Last week, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) introduced the Unnecessary Agency Regulations Reduction Act. This bill would prioritize cutting bureaucratic red tape by ending outdated, duplicative, and burdensome regulations.

“Unwarranted and unnecessary federal regulations have burdened hard-working Americans for decades. I came to Congress to restrict government bureaucracy and to ensure that the people of Florida’s 19th Congressional District, and all Americans, have the opportunity to thrive without antiquated and repressive government red tape. By removing these outdated and restrictive barriers, the Unnecessary Agency Regulations Act will implement meaningful reforms that will result in job creation, socio-economic growth, economic prosperity, and generational mobility.”

Full bill: H.R.4132 - To consolidate or repeal unnecessary agency major rules, and for other purposes.
