WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) released the following statement after Washington, D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) cleared-out the anti-Semitic and unlawful protestors occupying George Washington University (GWU):

"For days, Hamas-apologists illegally overtook George Washington University, harassed and intimidated Jewish Americans. Mayor Bowser refused to take action and only did so after the House Oversight and Accountability Committee met with George Washington University leadership, toured the encampment, and scheduled a public hearing for today. It never should have come to this."
