Rep. Donalds Celebrates Women's History Month 2023

WASHINGTON - Throughout March of 2023, the Office of Congressman Byron Donalds celebrated Women's History Month by recognizing the careers and contributions of 32 dynamic, female public servants who have helped to forge a better future for our nation. Congressman Donalds (R-FL) released the following statement:

"For too long, women in America were excluded from our government and the political process. Thanks to the work of trailblazers like Rep. Jeanette Rankin (R-MT)–America's first congresswoman and Sen. Gladys Pyle (R-SD)–America's first elected female U.S. Senator, women across our country were inspired to follow in their footsteps. Their legacy lives on today. There are now women working at all levels of our government from the local level, up to the federal level. I am proud to highlight the accomplishments of great women in government throughout American history.
