WASHINGTON - Today, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) issued the following statement slamming the Democrats’ unhinged and partisan 1/6 probe following additional subpoenas of Republican Members of Congress.
"The recent ultra-partisan subpoenas of Leader McCarthy (R-CA) and Representatives Perry (R-PA), Jordan (R-OH), Biggs (R-AZ), and Brooks (R-AL) by the 1/6 Committee are nothing more than a political vendetta and a national disgrace. The Democrats’ mob rule tactics spit at the very foundation of our Constitutional Republic. The continued investigation in search of a crime is just another attempt to distract the American people from their failed policies. While Americans face unprecedented prices in every facet of their daily lives and parents desperately search shelves for baby formula, the Democrats are focused on relitigating 1/6. The American people are tired of these political games. It's time to work for the American people, not selfish political sideshows."
