FORT MYERS – Today, Congressman Byron Donalds (FL-19) released a statement following his interview with the Southwest Florida Community Advisory Board.
The private virtual meeting, which took place on August 25th, 2021 at 4 PM, provided Rep. Donalds with an opportunity to share his insight and perspective on legislation coming out of Washington, DC, discuss his office’s legislative priorities, supply Board Members with a summary of his sponsored legislation, and to answer questions.
“The people of Southwest Florida deserve the utmost transparency from their elected leaders, and that is why I was happy to sit down with the Southwest Florida Community Advisory Board. This meeting provided valuable clarity on recent happenings on Capitol Hill and how federal legislation will impact our local communities,” said Rep. Donalds. “Authentic, genuine, and meaningful conversations were had on Southwest Florida’s most pressing needs.
