As the baby formula shortage continues to rock the nation, millions of infants are at risk. By the end of May, out-of-stock rates for infant formula reached up to 73%, leaving parents scrambling to feed their babies. Last week, ten states, including Florida, reported their out-of-stock rates had topped 90%, showcasing that it is only getting worse despite President Biden's bare minimum effort to resolve this crisis. When our nation's parents are desperate for answers, relief, and support, the White House continues to downplay the severity and magnitude of this shortage. It took just over a year of Joe Biden's presidency to transform America from the land of plenty, opportunity, and freedom to a pressure cooker of rising lawlessness, hyper-inflation, and endless shortages.
This administration continues to play the blame game, deflect their role in creating this crisis, deny the length of time they knew of an inevitable shortage, and still sit on their hands. Americans need a leader who will rise in the face of adversity and remain steadfast amidst a challenge. Unfortunately, with Joe Biden in the White House, the American people have received a president who has wholly abandoned the leadership needed for the highest office in the land. The Biden administration's failure to take swift and immediate action jeopardizes America's babies' health, safety, and development. This carelessness and recklessness mustn't stand.
