Last week, my office was hard at work on Capitol Hill, introducing legislation and holding the Biden administration accountable. After weeks of slow-walking by FBI Director Chris Wray, he released a 1023 Form detailing the testimony of a confidential human source intimately involved in the investigation into the Biden family's shady foreign business dealings. This came one day before a planned vote by the House Oversight and Accountability Committee to hold Wray in contempt of Congress for his blatant refusal to share this information with Congressional investigators.
Upon reading the 1023 Form, I had a few key takeaways. The American people should know that this document stipulates that according to the confidential human source, money was moved through several accounts to in order to get to Joe Biden. To clarify, money was moved on purpose through multiple accounts in order to conceal the origin of the money (Burisma) and the destination of the money (Joe Biden.) I believe that every American should be able to have access to this document. It's clear Biden was involved in a bribery pay-for-play scheme and used his office to pressure Ukraine into firing the prosecutor looking into Burisma.
Furthermore, the document explains that the human source was in contact with Burisma, which several times called Hunter Biden "stupid." Overall, the FBI had this information on the Bidens since 2015. We know Treasury has possessed various financial records about Hunter Biden & Jim Biden's foreign business dealings for years. This reeks of hypocrisy at the DOJ, when they will use phony Clinton information to push the Russian Collusion hoax but sit on real information detailing the Biden's corruption for years. To be frank, the intelligence community interfered in our past two presidential elections and are on pace to interfere in a third. This is obscene. Radicals at high levels of our government want to maintain power, make money through corrupt means & will destroy anyone who gets in their way. We cannot let this keep happening.
To reinforce the importance of the Biden administration's compliance with Congressional subpoenas, last week, I introduced H.R. 3901 - The Agency Subpoena Compliance Act. This bill requires the Executive Branch to compile and submit a report to Congress regarding each subpoena sent to, or received by a federal agency in the past fiscal year. It also includes a provision that reduces Executive Branch funding by 2% for each week of delay in the event of the Executive Branch's failure to produce a report. Under the legislation, for each lawfully issued subpoena that was not complied with, Congress is authorized to reduce the funding of that federal agency by ½%.
Finally, Biden’s DOJ announced another phony indictment of the leading candidate for the GOP Presidential nomination, Biden’s likely opponent, and the former President of the United States. This mob-like justice system is turning Lady Justice on its head and is the most significant threat to our democracy. Democrats and their friends in the media spent over seven years trying to convince the American people that Trump was a Russian asset and that he colluded with them. Now, these same people are trying to convince you he committed espionage. They were wrong then, and they are wrong now.
