WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) led members of the Florida Delegation in a letter to President Biden requesting information on the taxpayer-funded secret flights that transported illegal immigrants to the State of Florida.
“In further dismissal of the ongoing crisis on our southern border, this administration deciding to transport throughout the country in the middle of the night proves just how inept Joe Biden is at leading the nation,” said Rep. Donalds. “Due to Biden’s inaction, every state is now a border state. For the protection of our constituents and our state, my Florida colleagues and I demand answers on the covert resettlement of these illegal immigrants. The American people deserve clarity.”
“President Biden’s policies have created a humanitarian and national security crisis at our border. Instead of tackling this crisis, reversing his failed policies, supporting our hardworking border agents and securing our border, Biden’s administration is transporting illegal migrants to other states in the dead of the night,” said Rep. Webster. “We know that gang members and traffickers are exploiting our open borders, but what we don’t know is whether these individuals are among those being resettled in our state. President Biden needs to provide these answers quickly and secure our border.”
“This administration must be more open and transparent about the crisis at our southern border,” said Rep. Posey. “Americans have every right to know how the influx of immigrants entering our country illegally will affect their communities.”
