This past week, Congress once again stood in legislative session.
As if Americans weren't already suffering enough under the economic leadership of Joe Biden, inflation has now reached a 40 year high, soaring to 7.5% in just 12 months. Under this administration, middle and lower-income families have endured a supply chain crisis, national labor shortage, skyrocketing inflation, and stagnant wage growth because of inflation, and all the president wants to do is spend more money.
Just days ago, live from the White House Press Briefing Room, Press Secretary Jen Psaki continued to spew false information to the American people regarding the masking of our children in schools. The science has been clear for months: masking students in the classroom doesn't prevent the spread of COVID-19. Despite clear and concise data, this White House is persistent in masking our students, fear-mongering the American people, and continuing to damage the mental health of our youth. It's time to end the madness & end these ridiculous mask mandates in schools.
Last week, an appalling report was released by The Washington Post revealing key details on the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. The eye-opening report accounts for what Americans already knew: President Biden drastically failed to keep our troops safe. His incompetence as a leader makes him directly responsible for the catastrophe in Afghanistan last August. Our military servicemen and women deserve a Commander in Chief capable of leading our armed forces.
