This past weekend, Florida again surpassed record-high gas prices, with regular unleaded fuel reaching $4.875 — further proving that President Biden's refusal to unleash America's energy industry is crippling our economy and financially straining Floridians. President Biden's inability to lead our nation to economic prosperity has the White House blaming Vladimir Putin for our nation's energy crises—however, the American people know the truth. The blame for the gas price hike is due to none other than President Biden and his radical agenda. Under the one-party rule that is currently taking place in Washington, the Left has no one to blame but themselves for soaring inflation. Last week, the CPI numbers for May were released, showcasing that inflation rose 8.1% — the highest rate in four decades. Yet, the Left's response to solving this financial crisis is more reckless government spending. The Democrats' lack of concern for the tax dollars of hard-working Americans shows that they have no remorse for their out-of-control spending to fund their extreme political agenda. As Americans suffer under the weight of their continued policy effects, the Democrats are doubling down on their reckless tax and spending spree. The solution is simple: Congress and the White House need to stop— stop spending money, stop with the regulations, stop the assault on American energy, and stop selling out to the Bernie Sanders/AOC wing of the Democrat Party.
