This week, the House of Representatives stood in legislative session as Speaker Pelosi and congressional Democrats continued to drive their progressive and America-Last agenda down the throats of the American people.
Now that Build Back Better is officially dead on Capitol Hill, congressional Democrats have shifted their priorities to appeasing the Communist Chinese Party. The Democrats have introduced the COMPETES Act, a $325 billion bill that caters to China and puts the American people last. Nowhere in the 2,900-page bill does it state any independent investigations, sanctions, or punishment for China's role in the COVID-19 outbreak. This sham of a bill is a legislative gift to the CCP:
- Distracts the US military with climate change projects
- Allows the CCP to steal our intellectual property
- A less secure visa entry system for CCP members to enter the United States
This legislation fails to hold China accountable and weakens the United States' role on the world stage.
Thanks to President Biden's inflationary spending this week, the United States' national debt officially surpassed $30 trillion, years ahead of schedule. Despite this horrific milestone, this administration shows no signs of slowing down. The inflationary spending out of Washington devalues our dollar and burdens middle-class Americans. It's clear that our spending system is broken and in desperate need of reform. It's time to stop the massive social spending, slim down our federal government, and put the needs of the American taxpayer first.
